Since it’s really feeling like summer, I’m going back to the 15-free Olive & June in CV (named for Clare Vivier). It’s a happy orangey red, and IMO the perfect warm-weather shade for fingers or toes.
Mike kept telling me he wanted to try iconic surfer Kelly Slater’s Freaks of Nature sunscreen, so when I was picking that up, I thought I might as well get him the Deep Dive Hydrator, too. Turns out, I’m obsessed with this stuff—It’s clear and slightly slimy (I know I’m not making it sound as amazing as it is but trust me), and makes your skin feel so soft with an instant glow. I even use the excess on my hands, and now I definitely need my own bottle.
I already waxed poetic about Epres Bond Repair that truly does transform dry or lifeless hair. Now I will go on about the Nail Treatment. I’ve never had great nails—They’re thin and fragile and easily peel-y . So I’ve been using this religiously for a couple of weeks, and they’re already stronger, not peeling and overall looking way better (and I’ve tried everything!). Use the site-wide code ANDREA20.
Cyklar’s Sensorial Body Wash is a real aromatic shower treat. It’s super sudsy, but contains oils like coconut and argan, so it leaves your skin moisturized when you step out of the shower (and even when you dry off). We’ve been using the intoxicating Naked Neroli, but can’t wait to crack open the the Scared Santal. And I haven’t tried any yet, but these perfume oils look pretty enticing, too (and great price as far as these things go).
I’m new to True Botanicals and already a huge fan (thanks to Jean Godfrey-June—stay tuned for her interview later this week). Today I want to give a shout-out to the luxurious Body Butter that came as a very generous gift with my last purchase. It’s so rich, but light and absorbs into the skin quickly while giving you a nice little luster—Plus, it smells divine.
I’ve been curious about the sustainable, natural, and non-toxic brand Ceremonia for a while. So I finally popped into the Soho shop the other day and left with the Guava Beach Waves spray that helps hair spring into shape while giving it some nice texture and a fresh scent.
Babba, the founder of Ceremonia is a mom-friend of mine! She’s absolutely fantastic—first Latinx owned hair care line at Sephora! So glad you’re featuring her beach waves spray. The hair scrub is my fav in the line.
I'm trying the True Botanicals and Cyklar Neroli. Thanks!
