I rarely wear makeup unless I’m having it done for something, but I tried No Makeup Makeup, and I really do love it (even in this heat). The name says it all, because it really does just look like nothing while doing something. And it’s easy to apply—I just use it with the brush on any red spots and around my nose before I slap on the tinted sunscreen. There are so many shades to choose from, you’ll definitely find one that works for you. Use the code ANDREA15 on the whole site.
If you like a little lip color, but can’t do a real lipstick (like me) Fré’s new Plump Me goes on super light (I like the red because I can’t really get away with a full-on cherry lipstick), and it provides a little fullness with an SPF of 30. There are a couple of other shades if red isn’t your thing. Use the code SHOPIWTBH 25% off everything.
I got a tub of Bloomeffects Whipped Butter Crème and was immediately hooked. It’s a sheer mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 50, but feels more like a super emollient moisturizer that you can use it on your face and body. So good.
I love all of the RMS eye shadows because they just look like enough of something without giving ‘80s Donna Mills (iykyk). The Cashmere Matte Eyelights in the new Canyon Clay looks especially good to me (kind of like when we used to put Indian Earth on our lids!). And I also really like Radiance Setting Mist (even if you have nothing to set, it feels good and gives a nice refreshing glow). Use the code ANDREA20 site wide.
And now a shout-out to Ursa Major: We love the Fantastic Face Wash around here (especially in the new, good- looking packaging), and the cult-favorite Golden Recovery Cream that also got a little design makeover. And I can usually can’t be bothered with eye cream, but now I use this one that feels really light and nice, and doesn’t leave me with a big, greasy ring under my eyes. Use the code ANDREA20 site wide.
My brows have a hard time behaving and staying flat, so I’ve been using Refy Brow Sculpt right after I swipe some Brow Tint over them to shuzh them up a little more (but I also use it without the tint if I’m feeling lazy).
I’ve already told you I love Soshe Peptide Glow Hydrating Lip Treatment (super smooth, not sticky, pretty tube) and now I want to tell you about their new Pillow Blurring Blush that goes on more like a cream and blends in easily (hence the blur bit). My friend Christine, a painter and former makeup artist, used it correctly on the first go and loves it. I, on the other hand, am lame at applying makeup, so it took me a while to get it right. But once I did, the result was a nice healthy flush.
I met the beautiful Donna Mills years ago, and all I remember is the black eyeliner surrounding her intense blue eyes!
Good onesssss!!!! Tabs are open! Also Donna Mills : )
