Best of the Week: 06/20/25

Happy Friday!

Hi! Today was shot at one of our favorite local spots, Eastwood, that serves up an eclectic mix of Israeli, Scottish, and Mexican food (and really fresh ceviche in the summer), with lots of good wine and a bunch of different beers on tap (my favorite). I’m in my new Me + Em drape top that I chose to wear backwards so the ruching was in the front (tbh, I did that by accident, kindergarten style, and ended up liking it). The jeans are these super soft, “weightless” pleated ones from 7 For All Mankind that feel like PJs, and the shoes are my comfy Fit Flop hikers—I just found out the Camo Green, Cream, and fun orange are all on sale here, also these more Teva-esque ones are 40% off, and here’s the whole lot. The belt is an Eddie Bauer vintage score from eBay, and this is the straw and leather bag (I went to the supermarket right after we shot this, and threw all my groceries in it). I can’t help it. Every time I see a classic pair of Dr. Scholl’s, my mind goes back to my cool babysitter Dee Dee in her denim cutoffs probably using Bonne Bell Lip Smackers (and that’s a good thing).

I just ordered these super soft, thin, slouchy trousers in the absolute perfect navy blue to wear all summer and way into the fall.

I was surprised and delighted to find that these cubic zirconia earrings from Bauble Bar really do sparkle like the real thing.

I don’t do shorts, but I would definitely wear these Chan Luu ones that act more like a skirt.

Schoolhouse has so many good things (we have these light fixtures in the kitchen), and this cool, old-school clock in white sits on our living room credenza and makes me happy every time I check the time. I think we need the yellow for another room!

I really want this luxe raw silk tee, but the question is, do I go for this Sage shade, or Manzanita (the perfect brown), Black, or Natural?
