A few of you have asked me to find some warm-weather footwear that looks good and that you can actually walk in. I hear you—I’ve got a neuroma in one foot and the beginnings of I-don’t-know-what in the other (I know, sexy). Plus, I walk almost everywhere so this one is for me, too. First up, we have Loeffler Randall’s ropey ode to the hiking sandal. I would definitely wear them with PJ pants like these (so cheap now!) or my go-to Rutis (use the code ANDREA15 for a nice discount).
We all know that FitFlop does sporty so well, but I was happy to find this more polished leopard style to wear with linen trousers, etc.
These sleek silver wedges provide some good height and have a secret cushy footbed.
I recently got these chic Eccos that kind of give the Row but feel like clouds (also in black and a few other options).
This light and airy one is basically a fun sneaker alternative and comes in a ton of color combos.
Does the idea of standing around in heels bum you out? Bared Footwear is designed by podiatrist Anna Baird who totally gets it. So this strappy number has a special foot bed with total arch support,
I love the buckles and old Prada-esque heel on this pair from Camper.
These Rothy’s remind me a lot of a classic A Détacher pair that I wish I’d gotten.
Here’s another clever supportive pair from Bared in a cool, light leather.
And these Naturalizers give just enough height, with a foam footbed that looks super bouncy!
I noticed the Ruti pants are styled with Adidas sans socks. What’s your stance on when to wear sneakers with or without socks? Is it still okay to wear sneakers with no-show socks or will that read too “elder millennial?”
Just bought the Campers last week in a beautiful neutral green and LOVE them - delighted to see them featured here! ☺️
