One Piece, Two Women

As old friends often do, Anne and I find ourselves wanting and getting the same things most of the time (we’ve known each other since we were 14, after all). So now that we both own the Ruti On The Loose Pants in linen, we decided to take snaps of ourselves wearing them our own way. I’m in an old embroidered sheer hippie top sort of like this, but I love this plain one, too, and this one is only twenty bucks! You can also see my Else Petunia bra on purpose/by accident. Those are A. Emery snake-print sandals—The red are so good, too, and they’re slightly cushioned for comfort. And, because I’m not so great at taking selfies, you can only halfway see my Chan Luu shell necklace, and that’s my fun Rabanne metal bag—This one is a great deal so someone better snap it up!

Anne’s looking so cool in hers with a Jolie/Laide drapey top (our old line)—This works, and this one too, or you can just buy this thin oversized style that has more arm coverage. That’s a Billy Kirk Mechanics Belt (we both have it— it’s super sleek with no visible buckle), Scarosso sling backs (we both have those, too), a strand of brown shells like this or this, and an old Turkmen cuff (we bought a pair years ago and split them). This one’s not as fancy, but it looks great for the price.
