I’m crochet as well, and can always tell the difference between crochet and knitted items. Thanks for sharing an inspiring selection of cute items. Maybe I’ll crochet a cotton top this summer. Or get the Mango tank!😍

Mango also has a blue one I really like, that’s technically openwork, but I want to dupe it in a mesh crochet pattern. https://shop.mango.com/us/en/p/women/sweaters-and-cardigans/sweaters/short-sleeved-crochet-sweater_87068643

Wow, those nocona boot/shoes bring me back. I had a similar pair (I think from Nine West) and on the first day of orientation at medical school I saw a cool girl wearing the exact same pair as mine. Of course we bonded over that and are still friends today. The secret language of clothes and shoes and boots and style!

Thanks for giving me the right language to use for the knitted to look like crochet pieces. I crochet garments almost exclusively and I am forever getting people asking me and so many brands are trying to play us. Yes, you can open knit on a machine. Yes, you can embroider a granny square pattern. No, you can’t do anything else like this on a machine.

I was going to say the same. Crochet can only be done by hand. And not all open work is crochet.
